The Holidays in Vermont provide a great family time to pick out a Christmas tree in Woodstock Vermont. Ned MacSoud of MapleCrest Farm is a fabulous local builder and also enjoys a peaceful private setting where he sells Christmas trees as a sideline business. The Bassette kids enjoy getting outside and we picked about 50 trees before we finally settled on the “perfect” tree. Best of New England Life

Vermont offers the best of New England life, with it’s history of outdoor living, wooded lands, hunting, wood splitting and red/black plaid.  There is a simplicity in living in an area where the Weather is always near the front of your thoughts: we are now changing from summer to “sweater/fall” weather, and soon we will be replacing fresh summer corn and pumpkins with thoughts of snow shoes and snow shovels.  Those first dustings – likely around Thanksgiving time –  against a backdrop of rust, orange, fire red and fall yellow leaves make for such pleasant early morning walks.  John and I specialize in helping buyers and sellers of land and residential properties in the greater Woodstock VT area.  Give us a call at 802 457 2600!

Woodstock VT Real Estate – Vermont 100 Race – 2010 – Join John Bassette as he provides support and assistance to those competing in the 2010 Vermont 100 race through the hills of Hartland Vermont and surrounding towns.  John even jumps in at the 70 mile mark and runs/videos a competitor as she completes this grueling 100 mile event.
